01Business clients
Where you engage us in the course of a business, cancellation is governed by your agreement with us and by these terms. You may cancel an engagement at any time on written notice. Fees for work properly performed up to the date of cancellation remain payable, and any amount you have paid in excess of that is refunded within 14 days. Deposits and milestone payments are applied against work performed; where the work they cover has already been carried out, they are not refundable.
02Consumers: your 14-day right of withdrawal
If you engage us as a private individual and the contract is concluded at a distance — by email, telephone or through our website — you have the right to withdraw from it within 14 days without giving any reason. The period runs from the day the contract is formed.
Important exception. If you ask us to begin work during the 14-day period, and the service is then fully performed within it, you lose the right of withdrawal once performance is complete. We will ask you to confirm that request and that acknowledgement in writing before we start. If you withdraw while work is part-way through, you pay a proportionate amount for what has already been done.
To withdraw, send a clear statement to info@curveon.net before the period expires. You may use the model withdrawal form, but you do not have to.
03How refunds are made
We refund using the same means of payment you used, unless you agree otherwise, and within 14 days of accepting the cancellation or withdrawal. Refunds are made in the currency of the original payment. You are not charged a fee for the refund itself; bank charges levied by your own bank are outside our control.
04If the work is not as agreed
If a deliverable does not match the agreed scope, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we will correct it at no charge. If we cannot bring it into conformity within a reasonable time, you may ask for a proportionate reduction of the fee or, where the non-conformity is material, cancel the affected part of the engagement and receive a refund of what you paid for it. Consumers' statutory remedies under Estonian law apply in addition to this and are not limited by it.
05Disputes
Write to us first at info@curveon.net; we aim to resolve complaints within five working days. A consumer who is not satisfied may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Committee of the Estonian Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority.
